Well, I have been a big slacker as far as the blog goes! Being a full-time working mommy is tough! Can you believe Aubrey is one?! The year truly flew by. She is quite amazing! Our love for her is indescribable. We can't imagine life without her.
Aubrey has been walking along furniture for a few months. Her little legs are strong too; she will stand on her own for a while but will not attempt a step. Although she has been making sounds for a long time, she definitely calls us momma and daddy now. She can also clap and wave (to herself) when you say bye-bye. She keeps herself busy getting into things. She loves to pull the ornaments off the tree, the dvds out of the TV stand, and the tupperware out of the cupboards.
Aubrey has a lot of toys in her playroom, but I think her favorite is a ball. She can throw the ball to daddy...he's so proud. She also makes a car sound when she pushes about anything (her shopping cart, a van, stroller, etc.).
Aubrey's first year well visit was December 7, 2009. She is growing right on track. Aubrey weighed 22 lbs. 2 oz., which is about the 50th percentile. She is 28.5 inches long, which is the 25th percentile. Her head was 18 cm., which is over the 75th percentile. The doctors felt she was perfect, and we agree!
