Baby's First Christmas

Two Week Well Visit

On Tuesday I had my two week well visit. Dr. Shilling thought I looked great. I gained more weight. I'm just past my birth weight. I weigh 7 lbs. 2 oz. now. I'm still pretty tiny though. The doctor said I am in the 10th percentile for my weight. I also grew 2 inches! Mommy and daddy didn't even notice...probably because I like to keep my legs scrunched up :) I am in the 75th percentile for my height!

Wow! Can you believe Aubrey is a week old already? She has been adjusting to life in the real world quite well. She is a very good baby. Her daddy and I are lucky! Aubrey is still pretty tiny...her daddy asked if she had any clothes that fit her :)
Tomorrow is her first pediatrician appointment and possibly a trip to Target. If she's anything like her mommy she will enjoy the shopping trip!

Some Pictures From the Hospital

On Tuesday, December 2, 2008 Aubrey decided it was a good day for her birthday! She was born at 4:25 p.m. at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Her daddy and I were very surprised...when we arrived at the hospital earlier that morning, we thought for sure we were going to be sent home!
I am very thankful that the labor and delivery was much easier than I expected! Aubrey was 7 pounds and 19 inches long at her time of birth. We think she is absolutely perfect. We're not sure where she got all of her beautiful dark hair, but we love it!

Aubrey Jean is due on December 14, 2008. I am currently full term so she could arrive any day now! We're excited and can't wait to meet her!
